As a lover of cryptozoology I’m irritated by the fact my last name is the same as an obnoxious author who writes debunking books. The man has no soul. I’ve even had others accuse me of being him. So when I finally make it to Loch Ness he’s there and we’ve been mistakenly booked into the same room. I’m so ready to give him a piece of my mind.

Then he turns around. My mind goes blank, and my knees turn to mush. Tingles cover me everywhere. He could be my ideal fantasy. If only he believed.

Seeking the truth about myths and monsters has provided me a substantial bank account but I’m done pretending I don’t believe. Joining a tour of Nessie watchers is my last gig as a debunker. Due to an error, I’m forced to share the last available room with a beautiful woman who challenges every statement I make with passionate conviction.

I listen to her words but all I want to do is kiss her lush lips into silence and explore the rising passion between us. I need to get to know her better. A lot better.
